What is a car service and does your car really need one?
Regular car service is the best way to make sure that your car will be with you for a long time. When you bring your car to a Hawk Motors garage one of our mechanics will make sure that the batteries are full and the pressure in the tyres is just right. By keeping your car in peak condition you will preserve the parts so they don’t wear down.
How often should I take my car to a car service?
Each car is different and the manual supplied by the manufacturer can best answer that question. If that is not available our mechanics have worked with many cars over the years and will always be available to answer that and other questions.

What does a car service include?
The Hawk Motors garage, located in Wythall, offers a full servicing package to ensure that your car will continue to run smoothly. With us you receive:
- Replace Oil & Filter
- Replace Air Filter
- Check Anti-freeze
- Suspension & Braking system inspections
- Inspect and adjust tyres & tyre pressure if needed
- Check Batteries
- Inspect Exhausts, brake pipes and hoses, power steering operation
- Top up all levels
- Replace the engine oil
- Change fuel filter
- Change cabin filter
- Replace the spark plugs
- Tune and adjust the engine
- Check brake and clutch fluid, and refill
- Check brakes and replace components if necessary
- Refill power steering fluid
- Refill Automatic/Manual Transmission Fluid
- Grease and lubricate components
- Inspect and if needed replace the timing belt or timing chain
- Inspect all lights, wipers etc.
- Read and fix error codes in the ECU
